Pretty much, at worst just suspend it for a week or so until the insanity dies down. Don't recall vividly what sports leagues did during SARS, swine flu, or Ebola but my recommendation is follow the precedent we set during those outbreaks, don't create a new, extreme precedent in reaction to what's effectively a cold. Nevertheless, frick CHINA!

Add Louisiana to the list of people that hate trump, presidential primary being delayed. At 2:00, Trump will go on record as hating himself when he declares a national emergency.
You still haven’t explained why there wasn’t the same level of hysteria over the Swine Flu outbreak which was far worse that this.

There were 8 SARS patients in the US.
There were 2 MERS patients in the US.
H1N1 had a mortality rate of 0.2%.
Using these viruses as the precedent here would be gross negligence.

I have many times. You struggle with math.
When Trump declares a National Emergency at 2:00, will you believe it then?

No, because he is now reacting to the media generated hysteria. He knows that he needs to do something to tamp down the hysteria by showing them that the government is doing something. Most sheeple like you will be calmed by the government taking over.

You sure are stupid. As much as I hate it. It's the right thing to do at this point.

I expect that death rate to come down now that they are testing everyone with a sniffle. A more accurate death rate.

SARS was contagion-4, this is contagion-2 (thanks in large part bc Trump's our President and not Hillary but that's neither here nor there), moreover SARS killed 10% of people who caught it whereas this kills 1% (not that 3% fake news people keep spreading)
LINK
MERS had a mortality rate of 37 PERCENT!!!!

H1N1 affected 60 MILLION AMERICANS and killed 12 THOUSAND OF THEM (bigger killer) this virus hasn't even affected 2 thousand stateside and has a high recovery rate besides most cases represent mild flu symptoms
Take your "gross negligence" and STICK IT UP YOUR arse

Plus there are likely who knows how many unreported cases since we weren't really testing for awhile. This killed a bunch of old folks in a nursing home while H1N1 killed regular folk also

I should be switching from basketball to golf as we speak. Pretty depressing.

It's currently at 2.6% with 33 deaths in 1268 confirmed cases. Still enormously above the 0.02% of H1N1.
