I'd say that this is WAY worse than when that plane crashed and killed LSU s football coach.

I appreciate your sentiments and am glad that you were willing to express them. There are other people besides the half wits who post 20,000+ times and think they somehow are smarter than everyone else and have control of this great site. Don't let them deter you.

This day may actually be a blessing 'in disguise'. We've been pretty split on jj vs lee and even vs mett. I'm ok with it as far as my lsu feelings go. Feel bad for jj though. Lsu may actually be better - jj not a leader and to win the ship, we need leadership at qb.

LOL. Team Sweep having a meltdown. Y'all need to settle the frick down and chill the frick out. This ain't one of the worst days in LSU history. Anyone who thinks so never watched a Curly Hallman coached team.

This.

Followed closely by the day Joe Dean became AD, which is tied with the day Brett Farve signed with Southern Miss and ultimately making Curley Hallman look like he know WTF he was doing.

I understand your concern and your outlook...but I don't share it. There are 50-60 tough Tigers still left in the locker room. If you've seen their forerunners , as you say, you'll remember a guy (Paul Lyons) stepping up in Wisc for Bert Jones...some guy named Mauck coming in in the Peach Bowl to replace the injured qb...oh, an the qb formerly known as Ryan Perriloux showing out against Miami. Couple of years ago, an unknown named Lee came from behind at Auburn. The rest of these guys are LSU Athletes, not Sat Nite Lights extras...you can fold the tent and take down the circus...but they won't. BTW, where's Cecil and Ramsey tonite? Not where I'm counting on them

Losing Bo Rein definitely set LSU back. That was a dark, sad day for sure. I remember it.

On a lighter note, hiring Curly Hallman ranks right up there in my book.

Now is the time to come and behind the coaches, the team and Jerrod Lee.

I'd say the worst day was the day we hired that psychotic, evil, mass murderer William Tecumseh Sherman to be our first superintendent. Somebody should have popped a cap (ball back then) in his arse on the way out.

What wine goes with running the place?

I don't get why some can't grasp what happened here.

It really boils down to this: Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Who put these young men in this situation?
They did.

Wrong place, wrong time- and their own fault.

If you disagree, well.....you're wrong.

Bo Rein, Wally Pontiff (high school classmate of mine); these things were terrible. This current deal is just an arrest; which may be nothing more than a guilty plea for a misdemeanor. The bad press sucks, but this clearly is not the worst thing ever.
