This is the NCAA's fault for their stupid timeline for signing players....Saban even spoke to it the unfairness of it.
Hopefully this will force the NCAA's hand to fix this shite. As much as I can't stand OM, it did not need to be like this. The NCAA can screw up just about anything.

I absolutely hate this crap. Team does what it is supposed to do but the system forces this crap on a team that is in a playoff run.
This does not happen in the pros and for good reason. If we are going to be like the pros, then we need to start using their best practices.

National signing day and coaching hires should be pushed back until jan 3rd following year.

Some of this has to do with university semester schedules. Player wants to transfer midyear, he has to do it before next semester starts. Timing never going to be good for everyone

The cfp starts too late. Round 1 should be the weekend after conference championships, instead they delay it 2 weeks. It screws up the whole timeline. There is no reason the national game should be as late as it is. It was January 20 last year, which is stupid. They start 2 weeks after conference championships and then there is a week off prior to the national championship. The fact that the NCAA/CFP did not have have the foresight to see this happening shows how inept they are.
