This is not a corrective action. It's vindictive.

The SEC obviously wants LSU to "bend the knee" is some form and is willing to make LSU pay a steep, or perhaps ultimate, price. However, I don't see what any of this accomplishes.
This amounts to a death penalty. How many programs have been subjected to the death penalty besides SMU. Why would you take one of your biggest brands and try to crush it?
I actually wish LSU had AAU credentials so the Big1G would welcome us. Petitti might consider it just to stick the knife in Sankey and the SEC but that's not going to be on the table.

Pay very close attention to who says what during this. Don’t ever let those people be comfortable coming to Louisiana again.
