Man. I like this dude's confidence but good gracious him saying that will bite him and the team in the arse.
Today was a prime example of why you say that shite in the locker room and not in public.
God dammit Zack. Let's get our shite together and come back strong. 8 earned runs is disgusting.

bro it's the first series everyone has kinks to work out and most of us questioned wether Hess has the stamina to go more than a few innings cause of his style. it's a long season it'll be okay. on the plus side the bullpen looked solid we just have to find 3 guys for the weekend. the walker injury hurt us bad.

I'm not disagreeing with you. All I am saying is that it's not the wisest thing to talk like Hess did in public. It adds extra pressure for him to perform when he's already trying to adjust to a massive change in his role. He's a young college kid but damn it just was not smart for him to say that.

Bats look fine. we all know April is when we'll find out who we really are especially with the youth

This place was all FIRE CPM! BENCH LANGE! For the first half the season last year.....and hell I was right there with them.......A Slaughter spike slide to the face and LSU likely wins it all........
I’ll let CPM play his juggling games for a few weeks before I start to melt much after last years lesson........
Sure would be help if Walker was back.....

Calm down. GIve Hess a few corners and the low pitch for strikes and let him settle in as a starter and he will probably end up dominant and go deep in almost every game.
Saturday was an aberration IMO mainly because it was is first game of the season. he will be OK.

Maybe. I always thought this starting role was CPM fulfilling a promise, and Hess will end up closing. But this outing doesn’t show anything. If he pitched like that as a closer he would be blowing saves.
That wasn’t Hess. Let him settle in and knock off the early season rust. I expect him to give us 4 or 5 good innings per start. It’s what happens in the 5th and 6th innings that will determine if Hess is a starter, not an early season collapse.

We lost a lot , have no real powerhouse starting pitchers . Young team with little experience . This year will be below meh . I expected this but will still watch every game .

This year is looking like the worst Tiger team since Jack Lamabe and the pre-Bertman era. Things will get ugly and I predict the worst rant melt since after the Troy football game.
