This is doing nothing but strengthening LSU’s and Lane's image with recruits

All this is doing is making LSU more appealing to recruits. Thanks to Sankey, LSU has got the Streisand effect working overtime.
It screams shades of Jimmy Johnson’s Miami teams in the late 80s and early 90s who DGAF and will do what they want on their way to dominating
And honestly, why wouldn’t a top recruit be drawn to it? A coach willing to buck the establishment, go to bat for his players, and pair that with NIL money most programs can’t match. That’s a pretty easy pitch to sell.
FYI, LSU dominates social media already. They have for years, with the branding their marketing department already does. Sankey is feeding the monster and is too stupid to realize it.

Imagine the sec having to pay us out, then espn terminates there deal due to kicking us out. So now sec teams will fund our nil and have even less revenue coming in

We would owe the SEC if they voted us out. Not the other way around. Now LSU could potentially sue and get some $ but LSU would owe the $. But I do think they expected this and have plans in place if it comes to that. We shall see.
