The wins were decisive and the losses were both by 1. Honestly shocked they pulled this off.

I like Hunt’s show but you have to take in consideration who is playing the best, at that time, especially in baseball.

I know that some of you are completely incapable of understanding this, but the SEC is extremely good in baseball from top to bottom. That makes it really really hard to win games. Going 14-16 in the SEC does not make you a bad team at all.
The margin for error is razor thin in this league. Look at the difference between LSU, a team who didn't make a regional, and Oklahoma, a team who won the national title. All of those games could have gone either way.

They were not a "bad team." Middle of the pack SEC Team? Yes. However, as we have seen in College Baseball, the post season is about getting hot at the right time not about winning from start to finish. Ole Miss did the same thing a few years ago. Tennessee didn't win it all in '23 but they got hot and made the CWS.
That is what makes the CWS and Post Season College Baseball so great. I love it.

I don't pay real close attention to who wins the CWS after LSU is eliminated. I had no idea until yesterday that the SEC has now won 9 out of the last 10 national championships. Oregon State in 2018 is the only non-SEC championship over the last decade.
