This is a question for the females that frequent the stadiums...

This might be a shot in the dark, but how strict is security about the size of the purse a lady brings in? Asking for my wife...
I know the size restriction is 4.5” x 6.5” but her bag is 6.5” x 8”. Is that gonna be an issue? Or is this a question for the OT?

Ive seen LSU security tell ladies theirs was too big. At the gates there are taped out markings and if it doesn't fit it doesn't go in for the most part. But it's Vandy -- who knows.

I took my wife to the Vanderbilt basketball game. She had a tiny purse/clutch. But it was too big by half an inch apparently so the dyke working the gate wouldn't let us in. I let my wife go in while I walked back to the car. I was so sweaty and pissed that we left at halftime, right after I helped boo Aleva.

Gotta have the right size bag. They have a poster that has the proper sizes marked out to hold it up against and check, just like the carry-on baggage things at airports. Best bet is to get a new bag that meets the requirement or leave the current one in the car when it's time to head into the stadium.

Had a similar situation except I just walked away, shoved it down the back of my waistline and went to a different gate. I literally smuggled my wife’s purse into a game.
