I mean sheesh it’s like folks forget we are still 4-1 which anyone preseason would’ve take. With our schedule even tho Clemson and Florida have underperformed. Is the offense as explosive as we thot it would be ? Hell no it’s been atrocious but the amount of ppl jus punting the season and saying we’re gonna go 8-4 or 7-5 when we still gotta ton of talent on this team and still have a lot to play is insanity.

I very much can’t wait till this bye week passes and the south Carolina gets here cause we desperately need a game to get here because this is up there with one of the most negative early season bye weeks of the entire BK era even 2023 with how atrocious the defense was wasn’t close to this negative.

You can’t win with a bad oline.

LSU’s oline is the worst in the SEC.

It’s that simple.

4-5 more losses incoming.

The good news is fans almost 100% of the time overreact.

Our offense is definitely garbage so far through 5 games, so the criticism/reaction is warranted, but the overreaction tells me it’s almost guaranteed we’re not as bad as the overreaction vibe.

They have to improve… let’s hope they do. If they can improve from garbage to merely average we can probably still win 9-10 games.

A loss followed by no game the following week is painful for the site...I think the venting of the fan base is understandable, though.

I have buddies in a text string who are season ticket holders that are just as negative about the team as the people you complain about here...

4-1 is irrelevant when you take reality into account.

Ole miss has one of the worst rushing defenses in the country, we couldn’t run on them. The teams left on the schedule have better defenses and more studs on offense. We can’t even block 3 man rushes effectively, what do you think other DCs will scheme up in future games? We still can’t stop DT QBs.

You’re basically saying don’t bitch until the final results are in, and that’s BS. everyone can look at the situation objectively and realize we have several losses left on the board.

This and given the recent trend of LSU completely blowing chunks after a bye week don't make it any better.

Sure because after the last 3.5 seasons of Kelly’s bullshite everyone should suddenly expect a drastic improvement in play mid season.

Being realistic and using track record as a guide isn’t negativity. It’s reality.

We are 2-2 coming off of bye weeks with BK. Has more to do with that usually being against Bama

Can’t understand why this thread trying to be positive gets anchored. This place is toxic AF right now

The reason they are making those predictions is that the reasons for last week's loss were IMMINENTLY foreseeable after the Tech and Florida games. Yet some fans and, evidently the coaching staff, chose to ignore the problem until it, not surprisingly, led to a loss. Thus, I'm sure those fans predicting 2, 3, 4, more losses don't have much faith in the coaching staff to fix the issues to prevent those additional losses. Especially in light of the fact we saw this movie two years ago when it was clear one side of the ball was championship caliber with the other side being the anchor that wasted the great play.

4-1 as a general matter is a positive. And the season is FAR from over. But given the offense's significant struggles in the first two SEC games, the fact that there are 6 more such games left on the schedule, and the coaching staff's apparent reluctance to be proactive and address the issues BEFORE it leads to a loss, I can understand the skepticism.

I have a theory on this:

It’s just easier to be that way. It’s so much easier to say ‘everybody sucks’ or ‘fire ____’ or to just say the season is over whenever shite don’t go right

It’s difficult to keep the faith and think (hope) your team eventually gets their shite together and try to remain positive
