Wow you sound like an absolute loser who is hoping for an 18 year old to fail. To fail while playing for a team you are supposedly a fan of. Anyone with football knowledge can not deny he looks great as a true freshman starting his first game. We lost to 2 teams that are complete shite btw. Also I see you are from St. George, is there anything about TJ you don't like other than his success in his first game? Why do you compare him to Brandon Harris?

Nice race card? It's easy to see you are the racist. I mean you are actually pissed that the guy had a good game then you compare him to Harris. You are a racist and it's clear from your post.

Because we were gashing them with the run game and exotic blitz packages get people out of position for gap responsibilities. The run game also kept us out of a ton of 3rd and long so not as many as many obvious opportunities to blitz.

Making threads about race must be your thing.

Hot take from the same guy that had issue with LSU offering a white DB while discussing it on the recruiting board.

When was the last time we had a white kid pan out at a skill position?

Does the quote look familiar? Did you forget about the white kid that played a skilled position last year and won the Heisman?

The dude completes 17 passes against a shite team, most of them dinks and dunks within a super simplified version of the offense,

Stupid comment. No other way to put it.

He wasn't dinking and dunking. He was throwing ropes over the middle and on the sidelines for 10, 15 and 20 yards. Most passes in any game don't go further than that. There was never a reason to go deep, when he was shredding them everywhere else. Dinks and dunks are tosses to the backs and little five yard passes to the tight ends. He made every throw you could ask for in that game. He could have thrown for five hundred yards if they had passed 40 times. They just didn't need to.

I hope he reads your comment, though. Should fire him up, if he wasn't already.

By the way. That "crap" team you referred to? They beat the team coming up next, that you think Finley will crap the bed against. Shows how little you've paid attention.

Even if you dont consider them going deep downfield with him a lot, the majority of these passes are not dinks and dunks. Most are right at the 10 yard mark or just shy or just past it. And with the receivers we have who can make plays after the catch, what the hell is wrong with dinking and dunking?

He did an incredible job of protecting his receivers.

1st - 6:05. Throws behind Marshall on an RPO slant, LB can't keep up with the change in direction allowing Marshall to get another 9-10 yards.

1st - 5:13 - Back shoulder throw to Jenkins, easy catch and run.

2nd - 3:53 - TD to Marshall.

The only pass that I remember a WR getting killed on was the pass to Moore where the LB pops Moore in the chest.

Harris had a decent come back attempt against msu. He replaced a completely inept QB. TJ played a full game and was replacing a competent QB. This is so different
Not a knock on Harris but it is obvious TJ is a superior athlete.

If he does put Max in let him see what he can do. Got in the game last week but they wouldn’t let him throw it. The game was far in hand got to let all of these QB’s develop.

yeah, im gonna disagree with you on this one.. I still believe Myles should be the starter when he returns, but Finely looked damn good out there and honestly id like to see him play vs Auburn. if he does well vs them, then we officially have a QB controversy and i would not want to be Orgeron then... Myles has waited his turn and he has done very well, but even i can say that finely looked more comfortable and more poised as a freshman... the offense was humming along like it was with burrow... again, its one game vs a lower opponent but it was an SEC game. would take it a game at a time...

Old school mentality. I know a lot of people think it's a racial thing but I don't. But the "waited his turn" thing carries a lot of weight with old school guys.

Chris Curry must be pissed that they forget their old school mentality when talking about the RBs.

Yeah that is the telling move right there. There is literally only one thing Brandon Harris has in common with TJ. Their size, play style, demeanor are all completely different.

Imagine being this upset because LSU got good QB play

On the 2 and 15 where he hit Jenkins, he’s lucky 24 for SC took himself out of the play. If you slow it down you can see 24 was standing right where Jenkins caught it; he just let jenkins run right past him as he ran in the wrong direction. Jenkins and 24 are both like 6’4 so that could’ve easily been picked off.

State is either 1 or 2 in the SEC defensively. Missouri is top half as well.

No one can look into the future. T.J. is so young and he handled the situation well. Cannot predict from Harris. Maybe we should start Max and leave T.J. at home. Just win. Celebrate the win and T.J.'s performance, not his predicted failure. We might be 4-0 if T.J. had started the season. Amazing the ball was so purely thrown and no drops. Don't do like Georgia and send the best QB to Ohio State
