Basketball had 3 in 5 minutes.. I don't think they were going to start rolling in.

It really starts bringing in the likes at about the 7 min mark

is there some kind of rule where people can't like baseball and basketball?

I love both. But I think you need to have perspective. I'm a huge baseball fan.. but I know no one else cares about college baseball. But it doesn't bother me.

People around the country do care about basketball. LSU's administration and the majority of the fans couldn't care less, even when LSU has good seasons.. which is frustrating.

So what? I am a diehard fan of all sports that occur within LSU but even I don't care about bandwagoners for us.

What would you rather? LSU have its normal 1,200 people at the basketball games, even when they are winning?

EDIT: I am referring to the Bandwagon comments, FYI

I mean you are kinda comparing apples to oranges anyways, you're comparing the likes on a big baseball play that tied the game and a score update where LSU is losing. Not much to like about being down 7 pts, a whole bunch to like about a HR that tied the game

ETA: and no I'm not saying that accounts for the huge disparity, but it's definitely a contributing factor.

How does that perspective work for you at the world level in professional sports?

Lamar could possibly have 48 fans.

You're also comparing a non-conference mid week game in the second week of the season to a late season conference game.

Can you rephrase this in a way that makes sense?

College Basketball is a national/international sport

College baseball is mostly regional

Not that it changes everything, but I wouldn't like something if we are losing. I'm sure if it was a winning score it wouldn't be nearly as lopsided.

Nah, you wouldn't answer it honestly anyway.
