I don’t watch a lot of baseball, but seems weird to get upset over a game 1 loss when it’s a 3 game series.

It’s very very strange. Baseball is a game of long term averages and this team has a ton of guys who play at a high level. It’s why baseball is a series game.

I'm not of the thin skinned variety, but I'm not sure what this has to do with yesterday. Yesterday was about bullpen woes and lack of hitting left handed pitching. Let's just enjoy the win, and stop trying to pull something else out of it that isn't there.
The approach was much better today. It also wasn't left handed pitching, but I hope yesterday lit a fire under them toward fixing that issue.

And the ones about them not being the best team in the country after losing game one in a three game series to the number five team in the country, in extra innings. Or the ones about them being a mid tier SEC team.
It’s not necessarily about the game yesterday, it’s about the emotional midgets yesterday making asses of themselves.
They wanted all that attention yesterday, well, they’re getting it again today

First of all, I didn't see all of them, because I'm not a thin skinned fan (oh, the irony of this thread) who needs affirmation from my fellow LSU fans to approve or disapprove of my team.
Secondly, as I said in my previous post, yesterday's complaining that I did see was about the bullpen and hitting left handers. Those who gave up on the team over that are not going to be swayed in a game where we faced no left handers and our bullpen accounted for two outs. I'm personally thrilled about the performance today. But I'm not expecting anyone's opinion to change, nor does it really matter to me, either way.
