Anyone else going??

If I go, plan is to stay in Sikeston, MO Friday night, which is about 7-8 hours from the BR area and drive the remaining 3-4ish hours early Saturday morning.

I will if I can get tickets. Do you guys think this will be a tough ticket?

That’s what I’m worried about. I may call their ticket office and see if I can buy one ticket.

90% of mizzou fans live 1.5+ hours from como, so most fans treat home games like road trips. With it being last minute, most probably already have some sort of commitment.

Im guessing there will be a handful of tickets, but probably around $70ish

Be prepared for no tailgating on campus anywhere, also have to wear a mask in the stadium, and restaurants/bars all close around 10 due to the COMO city government's dumb rules. Hope a few LSU baws make the trip, I've been to every SEC city and COMO is one of the nicest college towns in the conference. Definitely check out the campus which is awesome especially Francis Quad and the Columns.

Don't tell me...you also plan to eat dinner at Lambert's. There is not anywhere else to eat in Sikeston.

The rolls at Lambert's are good. The rest of their food I would grade as a C+.

Me and the family are thinking of making the trip as well. Does anyone know how I can get tickets to it ? Or will the current tickets we have for the game be accepted ?? Just curious.

Looking to make trip from KC. Tickets go on sale Friday morning to General public. On sale now to Mizzou season ticket holders.

Chose Sikeston because it’s the majority of the way there and leaves with me an easy drive Saturday morning. Plus it’s right off I-55. Had no idea about restaurants. It’s just a place to sleep and watch the football game Friday night. I’ll be fine with chick Fil a or McDonalds.

Although I wasn't a Mizzou fan, I did grow up in MO and went to a few games while in high school. Thought about going primarily to see the Tigers, but also for nostalgia purposes. However, last night I decided against due to...

A bonus was that I planned on stopping by my hometown in the bootheel to pick up some dirt for this one spot in my yard that won't grow grass. This red clay crap in TN sucks for growing things.

All I know about Columbia is from the Dateline and 48 Hours episodes.

As a kid, I remember Rickey Frazier coming to Kennett and slamming home a dunk us which of course resulted in a technical. Everybody went nuts! Also will never forget their pre-game warm up routine with the blue and white balls. Like watching a high school version of the Globetrotters.

Go up to Lake of the Ozarks to hang out for the night. You will have an hour drive Saturday morning. It's a great area.

Do they still sling those things across the restaurant like Chase Daniel?
