But what you guys fail to realize is that games like this happen to every coach, on every level, every year. Period. It's football. It happens. Time to move on guys. It's getting really pathetic.

I in know way want miles fired. But I have not seen coaches every year pull what miles did in that game. The only coach that does shite every year that makes you wonder wtf is going on year after year is Miles

Theres more than that. Nov 5th.

Without Les there really is no one to stand in the gumps way...and they know it.

Most of us knew the Rematch favored them as it would have favored us had we been in their shoes.

I'm pretty conflicted. I've hated Miles for years. I've thought he was an idiot since 05 Tennessee, but I know he's a pretty good coach, who when he goes retard, he goes full retard.

There's not too many coaches I'll take over him, but I'll try to enjoy what we have, just knowing that we have a mental midget as a coach that can win off of good recruiting and luck.

Agreed, it happens.
Miles did magically become the greatest football mind in college football. He's a good coach with his flaws. The team overcame some of those flaws throughout the year. They couldn't overcome all of them.
Still, like most football games, it was a combination of things. Some were just good calls and plays by bama. Some were just poor calls or plays by LSU.
Early in the game, the false starts and fumbled snaps were just killer. You can not beat bama by losing the down and distance battle.

Miles did a great job for most of the year.

And all of that centers around the fact that LSU has not really had a QB since Flynn. BLame Miles for that if you want to. And it looks like he has finally got that fixed.

I don't think he should be fired. It's a shame that he has had to learn the hard way about so many things, but I think he'll be a better coach than he was this year. You can't just show up and expect to impose your will against an evenly matched opponent.

According to who? You?

You and a few other loud negative posters? That's about it. That's YOUR perception. Not anyone else's.

I was all over sports radio yesterday and NOT ONE.....(that I heard) said ANYTHING about this loss ruining Les Miles.

I putting this down as just a VERY bad day for the coaching staff. The Les Miles bandwagon will be taking passengers starting Sept. 1, 2012

And the way he handled himself in this 1 lousy loss will forever cloud his record at LSU and as a Coach. Playing devil's advocate here you are already seeing the recruiters from other schools recruiting kids by telling them that Miles didn't lead LSU one of its best seasons in history but the real leader was its backup QB. Miles & the LSU PR team are going to have a tough time coming back from this IMO.

So much rantard, so little time.

Miles is my favorite coach of all time. I'm one of those who looks at his record and the many stories of his great acts as a person a smiles or is brought to tears(yeah, I'm a sissy).

After reading some of the articles recently, and looking back on the last two seasons, unless there is a good reason we do not know about, Miles' treatment of the QB position(names are neither important nor interesting) amounts to malfeasance, incompetence-whatever you want to call it. As of right now, I do believe it rises to the level of firing. I could change my mind.

Before the season what was everyone thinking with this schedule:

Oregon in Dallas
Northwestern State
@ Mississippi State on a Thursday
@ West Virginia
Kentucky
Florida
@ Tennessee
Auburn
@ Alabama
Western kentucky
@ Ole Miss
Arkansas

And add these 2 games:
vs Georgia in ATL
vs Alabama in New Orleans

Pre-season I was thinking 10 or 11 wins, including the Bowl game. Too many teams on this schedule that could have beaten us.

Miles did a great job through Dec 3rd.

That's fair. Because he went Simple Jack Monday.

Disagree there. After so many times, it's not luck anymore. Every coach, everywhere needs a little luck. You just happen to be able to see it so many times with Les because you don't miss a game.

Actually this game is more than a lousy game. I have not read many on here that wants Miles fired as previously stated. I don't want him fired but in one of the most important games that coaching comes into play, he was piss poor. This is a rant and if we want to bitch about it then so be it. Les is one of the greatest coaches in LSU history, but it is easy to win the games when you really don't have to outcoach the other team to win. He outcoached Saban on 11/05 and most of you sat on here and bashed Saban on how Miles is so much better but when Saban clearly outcoached Miles, you want to give Miles a break.

Honestly if we did have a good QB last year or this year you think JJ still wouldn't be Miles starter?
