Yep. I said Orgeron would sink the program and here we are.

ETA: I'll admit that I didn't think he was a bad enough head coach to sink the program less two years removed from a NC, but I was wrong about that too.

The defense in 2019 was not great.

I wanted the defense to play better. They played lights out the last 4-5 games. I guess it was wrong to want the defense to play better

Topwater, it is on O how the units are playing.

I would give him more leeway had he fired Pelini 4 games into last season. But he rode that shitty defense all year long.

If its not working, Its on him to make the changes and dictate what needs to occur.

So yes, it's 100% on O.

After 2019, he wasn't hungry anymore, got lazy and hired Pelini. That will be his downfall, because he has no ammo left.

I want the team to play better. They've played like shite 10 of the last 12 games. I guess it's wrong to want the team to play better.

Last night in his coach’s show he mentioned going to ‘MAX PROTECT’ to give Max time to throw
don’t forget their masterful plan coming out for the second half against UCLA.

Instead of spreading out the defense and taking advantage of quick passes or screens against the UCLA blitz, they made the ingenious decision to bring in a sixth OL. Brilliance.

I don't think very many people here WANT any part of LSU to play bad. Most can just see that it is highly unlikely to happen, and we are going to have a long season.

We got our shite pushed in by McNeese's DLine at time. That doesn't just magically get fixed, and it's not going to get any easier from this point forward (minus ULM).

I have said ultimately it is as well as the hires he makes.

But I also say he is NOT the one coaching the oline, qb, rb, wr's etc...for us to improve offensively these individual units need improvement (mainly oline) O gets credit and blame for who he hires and how they do their job...he is not responsible for a rb not picking up a blitz or a lineman missing an assignment...that is on the position coach and player

why is he having to discuss the play-calling in retrospect ?

If you were the HC, you think you might ask the OC what his play sheet looked like ? what his first series looked like ?

It's you Ed, wake up.

Ok cool. So it's 100% on O because of his shite hires. Got it. We are on the same page.

You cried your little 15 year old arse off all offseason about how shitty we were gonna be in 2019.

Whine and cry.

I predicted O would be gone by 2022, but saw the run in 2019, you were 100% blind to.

Petulance and lying only gets you so far.

Its up to him to hold those coaches to a standard.

Its also up to him to make changes when necessary.

I don't see any of that happening. He's just complaining.

That would be like saying two turds are on the same toilet paper. No, one has been flushed and the other is still hanging around. You have flushed all reasons for O hanging around.

A CEO has his company’s operations department create a dashboard propagated by multiple data elements enabling him to observe the performance indicators by the clerk you are referring to. All of the CEO’s Directors, middle managers and line managers have access to the same data. That way, all are aware that there are performance issues. How to solve those issues may still require input from many levels, but the deficient performance should not be an unknown by any level.

What impressed O so much about this offense in spring and fall practice? He should have caught on then and demanded changes.
