You do know that over the last 4 including the loss today we’re shooting over 36% from 3 as a team right?

There is no offense on this team
He only has the most productive offense in the SEC since arriving at LSU.

LSU's defense is the best since Wade's arrival and this defense creates some great offense in transition

Half-court offense can use improvement, depth and injuries are what every good team has to deal with.

If LSU is healthy during tournament time this team will win some games

I wish Wade could get his guys to buy into an offensive system, this year, as they do with defense. A lot of the little things they do with communication and effort on the defensive side that make them so good there, are totally missing on the offensive end. We see somebody just tearing toward the rim and either throwing up a wild shot, or attempting a last second no-look pass, to a teammate who has no idea it's coming; or, a quick, off balance three pointer.

I don't think it's that there is no plan from Wade; I simply think that these players don't have the patience to let anything develop, and the decision making is seriously lacking. Last night, when they actually made a nice move to get to the basket, they kept missing. And, on top of all of these things, our free throw shooting seems to be getting worse by the game. They were nearly automatic about halfway through these first 17 games, but they are leaving a ton of points at the foul line since then.

We missed so many shots right at the rim. That has nothing to do with running an offense. They still need to tighten up the turnovers and stupid charging fouls. But they do need to run a few more plays for Murray. And a 14% 3 point shooter hit the biggest basket of the game for Ark. And we missed free throws which again has nothing to do with running an offense. But you can't go 7 minutes without scoring, especially at home. Not having Pinson hurts because Gaines is having to play more minutes and you could see he was getting tired. Ark pressed and made them work to get ball up the court much like we do. We'll be better once Pinson comes back.

correct. They should have multiple different offensive sets based on different situations and personnel.. Hell, we had that with my high school team, 40 years ago. What do they do at practice? Serious question.

LMFAO.

Holy shite, im laughing so hard right now.

What’s bad is that when we take a shot there is absolutely NOBODY under the goal to grab a rebound. That HAS to be addressed. Gaines (one of our smallest guys and point guard) led the team in rebounds vs Ark.

They have no half court offense. They do well when they play outmanned teams and can beat them in transition. They will struggle when they play teams that play good transition d. Fact.

Wrong, what you posted is the exact opposite of a “fact”.

The conference trends with the team’s main players are alarming through 5 games:

Free Throw % has dipped from 76% as a team to 62% in conference play

Absolutely is a fact that they have a poor half court offense, are good in transition, especially against teams lacking their athleticism, and struggle on offense against teams that can match them in athleticism.
