I'm happy we won but I hated the 9th inning but some of our fans will never second guess the coach...even the coach was probably thinking why didn't I leave in Hess now I'm walking the winning run intentionally

Fire CPM. How dare he put in a closer with a .890 ERA when his team has a 4-1 lead. Just a stupid move by a man that doesn't know baseball and even less about post season baseball. How long can we tolerate this ineptitude?

It's not that you blame Maineri for putting your closer in that's the absolute right thing to do. However, moving forward, I am very concerned with Newman if I am CPM. I am not sure it's as simple as "getting the kinks out". Newman has been doing that all year , inexplicateiy walking and then hitting batters. It has not cost him a save yet but it has taken them to brink of disaster multiple games.If I am CPM this keep me up at night worried about a regional or super coming down to bottom of 9th up by one does he go with Newman ? Honestly at this point I almost trust Hess more.
