Why would he have to?
The tapes are part of an FBI investigation. Neither LSU nor the NCAA have any right to lay claim to them.
Should Dawkins take a plea the tapes become moot.

Prosecutors give plea deals in return for FULL cooperation.
If Dawkins is a bad guy with info about Wade/offers...wouldnt the plea deal be a bad thing?

Doesnt have to be a target of the fbi to be named in a scheme. Once named, on the record in court, the NCAA will pounce on any player or coach named.

The FBI couldn't care less about Will Wade.They're not trying to convict him of anything.

Again, a plea reuqires full admission and names. Im NOT saying the fbi will come after wade or other players/coaches named...but the NCAA will.
Also, IF money exchanged hands and it wasnt claimed..that is a federal crime

IIRC, those transcripts were not allowed by the Judge in the 1st Dawkins trial.
