Give that dude one more abbreviated midweek start against NDSU next week, after that, his primary use better be on the weekends.

While a fun way to spend a Wednesday night, if you would've told me before that game that we get THAT type of line from Anderson and lose 3-1, I would've totally been ok with that.
In terms of this season's outlook, his performance was more important than the result tonight.

He proved himself last week at Rice when he got pissed off about those 3 runs the defense gave up in the 3rd that weren't his fault. He came out in the 4th and threw straight gas and got Rice 6 up 6 down in the 4th and 5th.

I left that game saying he'll be the Sunday starter at some point this season. LSU has enough lefty bullpen arms. You can't put a value on LSU having two great lefty starters for SEC play.

He was fantastic for sure but the comeback was the latest on everyone's mind. But he absolutely dominated and has been very impressive to start the season.
