The Worst Part of O's post game comments

Personally I found this way more offensive to the players than anything else
When the pressure is on and we don't rise up to the challenge O always starts backtracking on shite he has said all year, and blames everyone but himself. If we're just a good team and not a great one whose fault is that at this point? Is that necessary to say to the media? Miles was always (and rightfully so) made fun of for his bumbling and rambling in post game interviews, but at least he wasn't just ripping on the team for half his interview time.
Seriously we know that about this team, but O has sat hear all year telling them and us that they can do this. Then when we are exposed his response is these guys are just good, but can't keep up with elite talent.
I was ready to defend O to all the people on here calling for his head, but after hearing that and the other comments he made about players/positions I believe he is truly toxic to the team when they're under pressure than he is a help.
And to all of you dense enough to say well it's true what else should he say Read this article to understand why what he did is never a positive for a team.. Especially a team who can play for an NY6 bowl. Good luck getting them up for that game when you tell them all they're just OK when they lose.

One thing is for certain, LSU doesn't have a great or good head coach.

Ed O is trash and so is Ensminger. Tdecline is still in effect.

I posted this in another thread but it's all part of the spin to get a raise and extension that will cripple our program.
Here is my comment in another thread that is very relevant.
Exceeding the terribly low expectations brought on by himself and his team are part of the PR spin to get O a new juicy contract extension with a new hefty buyout. "Joe, we need more time. I can't recruit with 3 years left on my contract, Coaches gon use that against me on the trail." Ok O, here's a new $6 million a year 6 year contract to get you on par with the better paid coaches in the nation. It Includes a $25 million buyout. Then boom, we're in the same situation that Auburn is in by prematurely renewing the Gus Bus. What happens if we extend him and go 8-4 in year 3.75 for O? We will be stuck with the same shite yet again.

He threw the current players on HIS O and D lines under the bus.

Well, he is actually right. We are good but not great.

What’s sad is, a casual college football fan can see that the only teams Bama has had trouble with in the past decade have been variations of spread concepts. Yet, we continue to get behind to Bama and actually begin to playcall more conservatively. Genius!

We are not a great team, he’s being honest. Get over yourself and your primadonna attitude.

A team recruited entirely while he was recruiting coordinator and coached by a geriatric OC that no P5 program would dream of making their OC that he said was the best OC in the nation. Snake oil for sale.

So, make your players feel like shite for something that’s on you? Not the route I would’ve taken as the coach.

Let’s see if the team checks out after the annual Bama loss as we have done before. The next 2 games are very winnable. Despite Jimbo’s recent struggles, A&M still worries me. However, it’s still a game we should win.
Orgeron blaming the players and putting none on either himself or Ensminger could end of backfiring on him big time.

If you're going to try and insult me at least finish reading my post first.

You have to excuse Tiger n Atl, he doesn’t know the difference between Sterling Shepard and Russell Shepard.

Stopped reading right here. Do you not realize that if they're a good football team it reflects on coach O? Do you realize that if they're a bad football team it reflects on coach O?
WTF is wrong with you?

No shite Sherlock. Do you not realize that regardless of whether or not the game sheds a positive or negative light on him he should own the bad with the good instead of shitting on his players and saying the coaches did their job but the players aren't good enough?
