It technically was. We were pretty impressive against Georgia.

Then Bama happened.

Potentially against the best team in AP history. It's all relative.

What's impressive about kicking a bunch of field goals?

If you haven't been able to see how we've struggled all year on offense, you're either blind or dumb.

And do you think Bama is light years better than UGA?

Absolutely. Georgia isn’t the same team as last year. They ended up losing some very key pieces.

That best team hasn't managed to shut anyone else out despite playing a garbage schedule.

Not as good as Georgia or the 2 games before. Listen here, chucklehead, the reason many of us were optimistic before the Bama game is because we were making improvements on offense. That is the truth. But then we laid an egg vs. Bama because of abysmal Offense.

I don’t disagree that we need to get much better on offense. But to say we weren’t getting better, is simply nega hate because we lost.

LSU scored 36 on UGA. It's not a 36 point difference in talent.

I think Bama is light years better than everyone this year. It’s really not fair.

This is true and upsetting. But let’s also not pretend that Saban doesn’t take a week off before LSU and dissect every part of his defense when he plays us.

Exactly. Base defense with the 2nd and 3rd string while being up 40 is different than the circumstances yesterday.

Which is exactly why I brought it up. This offense has been putrid. They are entirely dependent upon the defense to get a turnover on the opposing team’s side of the field to even get started. That has been the case all year long. That’s the problem.

Really? Explain Mizzou. How did Mizzou manage to score double digits in the first quarter? Did ULL manage more than 12 yards rushing against Bama's first string? Arkansas scoring 31, 14 at the half against the starters? Bama has had elite defenses in the past. This is not one of them. LSU's offense is complete garbage.

The excuses and logic leaps are becoming downright comical.

That’s every team. Every team is dependent on its D making plays. It’s why we play Offense and Defense.....unless you are Texas tech who has no defense.
