LSU markets that the white jerseys are a tradition, they even have a spot in the Gameday programs where they discuss it.
But Brian Kelly has decided that he alone can change that and ignore the past at LSU.

For God's sake for you uniform police NUTCASES give it a rest. I realize you IDIOTS are proud for graduating from the Official Uniform Police Academy but you "fans" are flat out embarrassing yourselves. The ONLY 2 justifications for your posts would be the following...neither of which is happening BTW. 1) colors other than purple, gold, or white is used 2) the combination of colors looks bad. If you believe 2 is occurring, I suggest enrollment in a Fashion Police Academy. As far as 1) goes, if you want to come up with irrelevant ranting, complain about LSU using yellow instead of gold in uniforms. I went to the LSU vs Washington game years ago in Seattle. MULTIPLE Husky fans brought up the fact that "we have gold on our uniforms, you have yellow." Technically, they are 100% correct!

Actually, given the erratic performance of Nuss this year and the overall bad performance of the defense, uniform changes make a LOT of sense. If LSU lays an egg tomorrow night vs the sooners, blame it on the purple jerseys, not the coaching.

Look at most other high profile programs....they do not play the uniform game:
Bama
Penn State
Michigan
Ohio State
Texas
and others....
LSU is not Oregon....LSU is LSU. History shows that, other than Oregon, the uniform parade is for schools trying to garner attention, IMO.

This is a uniform we’ve worn several times over the last several years. Just get over it.
It’s not as if any of the uniforms this year were ridiculous design concepts. They all have the exact same style with the colors moved around.
