...the Watson slide is WHY WE HAVE REPLAY....

It was a dumb base running move, but HE WAS SAFE.

When all 3 people in the booth say he's safe and the umpires make that call, the NCAA is determining a game

It could have touched his hand hard to tell, shouldn’t have fricking tried to take the base.

I think he was safe but that’s not clear. No proof that his left hand wasn’t grazed with the glove.

Nah it was a good call. You don’t reward dumbassery on the basepath. There needs to be real consequences for LSU to learn their lesson otherwise they are probably going to lose in Omaha due to baserunning. It’s easier to get these kids to learn if the coaching staff can actually point to where it hurt them aka being called out.

Ehhh. They’re wasn’t enough to overturn it. Maybe be mad at the base running.

Not enough clear evidence to overturn.

In real time, he looked out by a mile.

Here’s a thought, don’t put that in the umpires hands. Stay on first like you’re suppose too.

When Kyle Peterson and Eduardo are lobbying for you, it’s probably the right call...

If you think he was clearly safe to the point a call on the field should be reversed, you need to take off the purple and gold glasses.

Kyle is usually accurate - but yes if Perez says it he’s definitely safe

They should also be able to rule on Home Runs.

Perez was trying overly hard to not appear biased. Theres zero chance you can say the second baseman, without question, clearly missed Watson's left arm
