We all have our wants and nothing wrong with wanting good things for your fav school.
The ULS doesn't note them as "UL" and neither does any other school in that system.
They need to take their wants up with their fellow ULS members and then take it up with the state.
What their fans wish to call their sports teams is their business.
Either way, it's no skin off my nose.
Let them be all they can be.

My wife is UL Alumnus, and I have been to some games. they have serious Penis envy. They have an entire 2-page spread in the programs detailing why they can call themselves "University of Louisiana", and the PA announcer, on every first down, chants "another Louisiana... first down!" with the crowd joining in on the "first down" part... Also heard several of them talking about how they could beat LSU this year...

I go to UL and its gay as frick, keep bashing everyone i enjoy. they all wishes they could step foot on the same field with any LSU sport. They all think they are awesome, there not. The deans sucks, our greek system is laughable at best because of some pussy as deans. This place sucks you in and will never let go. Its like quick sand the more you do and move in the shite hole the more you get sucked in and cant get out.

Ok i'm a UL fan first both parents graduated from there but I also love LSU.
I can personally say that I know a lot of friends and family who do not like LSU at ALL but then the other half either graduated from there or are attending. I personally don't understand the angst from both sides and yes i said BOTH. Listen as a rational fan I know UL will never sniff LSU's jock in any sports as of now except for maybe baseball(notice i said sniff not be better than, so before you go ape shite keep that in mind)So I dont understand why both sides can't just get along and root for one another.
I can say it pisses the UL side of me off tho when LSU trashes and makes fun of UL. its no secret that LSU is the bigger school with the better programs but yall talking shite to little ole UL doesnt help the hate towards yall. SO lets just all band together and enjoy the best year Lousisana football has seen in a LOONNGGG time!
