We are tailgating by Kirby Smith if you are on this side of campus. Come see us!

Thanks! We will hopefully see you there.

I've had many generous offers of tailgates etc. I won't be connected on campus due to lack of 3G. Instead of trying to locate tailgates specifically, we will wander around being friendly.

I'm wearing this t-shirt - . We will probably be the two guys looking wide eyed in amazement at the whole spectacle.

Btw jet lag sucks. Awake at 4am. But hey, it's GAMEDAY!

GEAUX TIGERS!

Question - can I take a portable iphone battery into the stadium? Including the iphone cable? It's not big - a 3 inch tube a bit bigger than a AA battery.

You need a sign.

You should hang a sign around your neck which says "I just flew in from London. Geaux Tigers!" If you can't score endless free stuff and a few dates with that, you must be frighteningly ugly.

Or perhaps "LSU London" on the sign.

I've never had issues leading up to a game.

Totally off topic but you're the best person to ask around here. What are is the best to stay at in London? I was looking on the South bank right across from Westminster.

I live over here too...and that's fine (although you will have to cross the river, not a big deal, for most places you go). If that's where you've found a reasonably priced place, S bank across from Westminster is fine.

Jmarto - south bank is good. Quite central and you can go for nice walks along the river etc. Much better than the more expensive areas (Mayfair, Piccadilly Circus etc). Also consider near Tower of London on the other side of the river.

I am taking notes of the various tailgate locations, will be looking out for gators. We are heading to campus by taxi at 8:30. We got some beers to bring with us so we don't look like freeloaders!

See you all (y'all) there!

Thanks for the advice. I found the Park Plaza Westminster for 7 days and round trip flight for $1800. Figured it is in walking distance of a tube and a few attractions.

To make it easier for him to find you, just put out a sign reading, "LSULondon welcome here".
