With the money LSU rakes in why does the TS game clock malfunction every year? Is the technology so complex that this issue can’t be solved.

It’s a clock. The one at my high school worked fine. Can’t be that damn advanced.

This and, why isn't there a better backup plan when it does malfunction? Aren't there some sort of portable clocks that could be used, especially the play clock so QB's would know how to manage the remaining time each play?

Based on the frequency of bullshite clock malfunctions, Im willing to bet is less on the tech, and more due to the fact that our clock operator most likley looks like this:

I thought that we were getting new clocks this year. Are they already malfunctioning?

The clock is how we do our own version of home cooking and game management. Nama owns refs - we own our clock.

I'm sure Joe has a clock sponsor opportunity for 100K or more so the clocks will work better.

Clock operators are certified officials and are provided by the SEC

LSU can't maintain their roofs, you know they can't maintain a clock. They don't have any money.

Not sure why, but the fricking clock going out like that made me salty AF at the time. Expensive arse stadium and can't get the fricking clock to stop.

One of the hamsters has a left oblique strain and the other one was suspended for the second half for violations of team rules (eating "happy" acorns).
Also, they spent most of the clock budget on those annoying signs telling everyone how damn long the CBS commercial breaks are.

Any time there are "technical difficulties" I always envision someone tripped over a cord somewhere and nobody knows what's going on. Just me I guess.
