The thing that pisses me off about what Ed O did today..

He says we have 4 CBs on scholarship next year with Fulton he clearly says is "up in the air", so pretty much now 3. We have Goodrich who it looked like on Sunday wanted to commit to us, and he tells him to take a hike, even though we are beyond desperate at CB? And despite not even signing a full class, that it was basically "his plan all along"?
Some recruiting closer all right This man is a God damn disaster and is a terrible liar. Just fire him and Alleva tonight so we don't have to suffer anymore and delay any more of the inevitable. It would be better doing that then seeing a train wreck of a 2018 season.

Shea said he couldn’t talk Goodrich out of his Clemson commit. Where did he say he turned him down Sunday?

From what I've read, they said Orgeron was calling him last night when it was too late and Goodrich made his decision, while I think when Goodrich was saying that LSU would be his choice earlier in the week, Orgeron told him the class was already full because he thought we had Surtain and Foster. Just frick up #100,000 for Orgeron.

He tried to commit to LSU Sunday and Ed told him he couldn't accept his commitment due to waiting on foster. He then committed to Clemson Monday

I'm confused about this melt. Is it because we held out and only got 23 of our 25? If so, that's dumb. There is always opportunity. Look at Will Wade if you want an example of that.

They should have gone after Goodrich and Surtain equally strong considering the lack of depth after Donte and KT2 declared. I would have guaranteed a spot for each of them rather than burn a spot on a one year Kicker. They could have at least gotten Goodrich. You build a program and team culture with 3-4 year players...not one year players.

the kicker we signed is a grad transfer with only one year of eligibility left.
and O is talking about maybe adding two more grad transfers.
so while they not 1 and done in college.
they are 1 and done at LSU because they used up rest of eligibility elsewhere before signing here.

I haven’t care this little about LSU football in 30 years - when I was 8 years old. I only made one game last year. Saturday’s in the Fall are just for eating and drinking with friends these days. At least until we get a real head coach
