Anyone get a look at his keys? Guaranteed one of them opens the gym.

But Nuss sure does look like a welder.

I absolutely hate the terms “deceptive speed” or “deceptively fast”. Those terms are only used for white players. I have never heard those terms used to describe a black player. If you’re fast, you’re fast. There’s nothing “deceptive” about it.

quote:racist?? Seriously???
It’s actually stereotypical and racist tbh
It must means a guy that doesn't have spectacular physical attributes or athletic skills, but still gets the job done.
Nothing racist about that at all.

Hope we end up landing his brother too.

The term you're looking for is "cerebral"

I'd say Jayden Daniels was like that. He looked like he was just on cruise control, but always pulled away from defenders.

You’ve depicted a goofy looking white guy.
Matt Mauck - dentist
Matt Flynn - looks like an autistic Matt Damon
Joe Burrow - wears SpongeBob SquarePants clothes
And then there’s 2011.
Goofy, nerdy white guys win championships, I’ll take it.

You’ve obviously not been around many welders.
He does not fit the welder stereotype whatsoever.

Right? I doubt he has one single domestic on his record.

Looks like a typical Louisiana baw, double chin and all

quote:No, it's a common term for a hardworking player that doesn't have the elite traits of top players, but does the job needed for team success.
It’s a common term for white guys, unfortunately.
The other commenters gave you the more "white terms".
quote:the "lunchpail", and, "student of the game", descriptions may be stereotyped, but white people are the ones who made them up, so how can they be racist?
It’s actually stereotypical and racist tbh, but this group of people rarely pull the race card.
quote:How less can you care?
And I could care less- but it’s true.

Pretty sure it's more about work ethic not traits. Nuss has elite traits and potential, but this relates to his work ethic.

He is going to have a great season and I cannot wait to see it. And if he decides he needs to comeback for one more season then he is going to have a truly magical Senior Season.

Ricky Blanton, og blue collar player

Because the implication is that they work harder and smarter than black players?
