STRIPES is like Camp LSU. Hundreds of incoming freshmen do it every summer. Basically teaches you all the culture/songs/history/tradition of LSU. It was a blast. You live in the dorms for a week or so and have small groups and activities and shite.

That's his point... The overwhelming majority of Aggie Corps ARE NOT ROTC students... AND this has been true for a long long time - frigging 40 plus years.

No, his point was that NOT ONE SINGLE cadet has a military obligation. That is absolutely not true - those cadets on military scholarship have a substantial military obligation.

Their time honored Aggie traditions include pretending to be in the military, worshiping a border collie, and playing “who can take the biggest load in the mouth?” at their Midnight Yell. Not exactly what a normal person would consider “cool”
