State and Tejas would’ve been amazing.

I really hate how LSU is now always tied to Aggie in every sport.

I’ve read Texags, they’ve really pushed their connection to us especially with their big brother coming in. They do NOT want to be grouped with Longhorn.
They are horrified, not even exaggerating

A&M left the Big 12 to get away from big brother. But now big brother wants to play, no wonder they're scared.

Boooo. If we have to have a forced rival, I prefer Arkansas.

I just don’t understand the point of this. If there are schools that absolutely have to play each other every year, they can play midweek games or one of the early season weekends. It’s nice and clean to play everyone 2 out of 3 years with no permanent matchups. Now there are 2 teams that get missed a second time in each 3 year cycle.

Does the SEC Bama Politics Office provide the public with the criteria they use to make these decisions on permanent opponents? Geez, I didn’t realize every sport can have its own different set of permanents.

Looking at that list, I think they pretty much went with the schools closest to each other geographically.

They should use exact same for 2 of 3 annual opponents in football.

agree. a balanced schedule is best assured with more rotating teams not fewer. a silly exercise ill-conceived from the start

frick this oversized conference bullshite. What's the point of a conference if you aren't playing against each other? 14 is too many. Need to get back to 10 or 12.

Rotating opponents:

12 rotating opponents: 3 series every 5 years

1 rotating opponent: 4 series every 5 years
