How about Saban as AD. He could pay back for leaving us for Miami.

People need to give it up Saban don’t give two shites about LSU.
There are multiple people that work and previously worked with Saban that say his biggest regret is leaving LSU. Feel free to do your own research.

Well, he did announce he was leaving to go to the Miami Dolphins on Jesus' birthday. That matches.

I'm not so sure. When he left last time, he suggested Houston Nutt, if my memory isn't misfiring again.

You're a moron if you wouldn't want the best coach to ever do it. The president is 79.

You are very correct on this one.

I'm not averse to Saban AD here though, if people think Woody and Skip raised money... The Saban tour would have donors... I won't say...

This was Gold, Jerry.

I'm upset this didn't hit harder.

he requested REVEREND NUTTSACK because he knew that jackass would fail and the LSU spot would be open and he could sneak back in.

remember he already wanted to come back in 2006 when we had miles

5) He’s revered in Tuscaloosa and would be going to a “rival” school where he’d have to compete against Bama regularly and possibly beat them out of championships. No. Remember how we felt when Saban went to Bama? Multiply that by 10. He’s not doing that to a school that worships him. Especially for reasons above. So ridiculous.

I'm with you on this. I think they should keep Woodward, but it seems I am in the minority. I really hate that it would be political maneuvering that is responsible for it. And if it becomes political cronyism that appoints the next AD, it will probably end nightmarishly.

I'm not sure why he recommended Nutt, but easily it was a terrible recommendation.

Saban wanting to come back prior to 2007 season I know was real.

Skip didn't want it and Les hadn't warranted immediate replacement. In the long term, just too many egos, too much bullshite and history plays out.

LSU seems to be the "what could have been" overall. I'm talking my lifetime - Bo Rein, Arnsparger staying, Spurrier,

Would he welcome an opportunity to turn around LSU and perhaps be AD in 3 years? At least have that talk.

We don’t need him as the coach. He should be the AD.

Other things to consider:

- he would only want/ need a short term contract 4 or less
- he would pick his own crew
- he would make sure to bring on a coordinator that he would recommend/ groom to take over
- he would want to win his 8th Championship
- he could win championships at three separate coaching stints

SABAN is NOT coming......he would stay at Bama if he wanted to continue coaching.
