So serious question. Were going to pay $100 for an AD and then more than likley $13m+ for kiffin?
We obviously have boosters larger than I ever realized

I never heard any numbers like
There no way they pay that much for an AD

Well if he is going to be AD i would think we hear something really soon now that the President is done.

Why would Saban bother to be AD?

So with Saban as AD you heard we will go after Lane?
shite sounds nuts but those two worked with each other already. i'd take that deal in a new york second.

Would Lane want Saban over his shoulder though?

What other stuff has your source predicted right that you posted on here?

Basically my dream scenario.

best defensive mind out there. the GOAT. he would surely help lane.
i can see us going after lane but saban as AD is a stretch. saban is the type he either coaches or he does not. DO not see him as a AD either but i am playing along here.

I could see Saban have a fancy title “Football President” and Kiffin would be HC. Thinking outside the box.
Saban would be picture stuff, more 8-5 job. Allow for Kiffin to focus on X&Os and recruiting

My prediction would be that Verge would pretty much be the AD in this scenario. Saban would have the title and salary, but a situation where he was more of a football advisor is a bit more realistic.

Their relationship is way better than people think.

I know you said you were very confident in Saban as AD, but how confident are the powers that be that Kiffin will come, if that's who they are zeroed in on
Posted on 11/4/25 at 3:53 pm to roach3
I guess we could go straight up NFL model. Verge AD, AT is at gm already, personnel guys like Petito already in place, and Saban could be President of football operations.

I can't give you any level on that one. I just know that's the target.
Just me thinking here
He wanted the job last time
They both have tremendous respect for each other
Lots of comfort from past working relationship, good fit
Great resources and you know the man calling the shots knows what it takes
There allot to like about the situation if you're LK
I mean another thought if we're being honest here, not a shot a Kiffin, but he's the reason Kiffin got back on track in coaching. Kiffins rep was horrible
