FYI . . .UF won national championship and, was, if memory is correct 9-4 next year
FYI...LSU wins NC under Saban and, was, if memory is correct, 9-3
and, the 8-5 last year was posted with QB's that weren't penciled in as the starter. . .yep, stuff happens (see OU this year)
Corrected the records but do agree with your points.

But hey, I'm as big of a hypocrite as any, sitting in the stands on Saturdays enjoying my hotdog and worshiping a football game.
Dude, I gotta seriously doubt your credentials as an LSU fan. A Hotdog? A HOTDOG??? In Baton Rouge? On a football Saturday?? You sure your not a Barner looking to stir things up?

And every coach in the SEC could have done that with the team that was handed to Les.
What does it say about an argument when the only thing that can be used in support of it against simply facts is speculation that begs the very question at issue?

Let's see how Nick does in 5 more years. Nick is very intense and will wear on the administration, the fan base, the alumni, and even the players. Nick is an awesome coach and is tremendous at building programs. He will wear it out in about 3-5 more years.

Hey guys, you willing to concede that I was right now? It appears that Bama is well on their way to a national title and we almost lost to Lousiana Tech this weekend.
Since this thread last appeared, we have lost to Bama (obviously with controversy), but a loss nonetheless in which we were physically beaten up by a better team. Bama is now the team that other teams suffer an "effect" from in the SEC West, not LSU.
There is grumbling up and down the board about Miles. I venture to say now that most Tiger fans would love to see Miles head off to Michigan before the program backslides any more, while most realist realize that Miles is not going anywhere for at least another 2 or 3 years.
Where will the program be in 2 or 3 years if Miles stays in comparison to Bama? (to go along with the theme of the thread)

What say all of you now? Still don't believe Bama is on the way up and LSU on the way away from the pinnacle. Since this thread was started, we have lost to Bama and also had the Ole Miss travesty.

And now Bama has a national title...anyone's opinion changed?
