It takes entirely too long for the on field ref to get notified of the need for replay and then go to the sideline tv and personally review the play. All reviews should take place by an official in the press box that begins the review process immediately after a controversial call. The LSU game this weekend was so long partially bc of the long replays. Something needs to change.

NFL is better. The opposing coach decides if it's important and has to be right.

The review monitor needed to be on a Segway because that Ref could run to well.

East Tuscaloosa needs to stay out of it. This will only further benefit the gumps.

You are right but college officials are terrible compared to the NFL ones. They make way more mistakes hence the need for more replays. However, something needs to be done. Maybe give each coach 2 challenges a quarter and it doesn’t affect timeouts or something. Booth review under 2 minutes.

Did anyone ever comment on the Anderson catch they overturned. No replay was shown in the stadium.

i’ll agree with what announcers said.

i don’t think he caught it, but there really wasn’t enough evidence to overturn it either.

Not my idea but I love it:

There should be a “play clock” on the replay. If it takes longer than say :40 to determine if it’s a miss then it’s not indisputable evidence. Move along

Watch this board melt to shambles if LSU were ever on the wrong end of a call that didn’t get overturned in time

Exactly. If it's indisputable, it shouldn't take long to review.

exactly.
the only thing that should extend the time is making sure you get the clock right, or an exact spot on field for like a fumble, etc.
