One has to ask how many of those millions did you contribute?
Likely not much.
But it is highly likely that you high-fived each touchdown and strutted around your workplace the Monday after a victory trash talking how "we" beat "them".

Greater than having the best team ever in 2019?
but...
the complete lack of any offense against the gumps in the BCS game in the dome?
absolutely no excuse. preparation? coaching?
Alleva should have started looking for a replacement. Miles had issues when it came to game management.
your love for incompetence is showing.

Piles made off with enough to last God knows how many generations for finishing below 2nd in the western division in 6 of his 11 seasons. He can handle a little criticism, I believe

How does your reply address my comment?
Why do you care how much he made if you contributed little or none to it?
And I'm assuming you celebrated those touchdowns and wins as well.
Aren't you just a little hypocritical?
I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings.

The fact that so many here agree with the OP is sad. Everyone agrees Les needed to go after his last two years but even those years were not horrible, LSU was still a top 10-15 team during that time. O having the season he had has made people more hateful, but I needs to continue. Him stepping back and it becomes an outlier and not consistent

Comparing what Nick had vs O is ignorant at best... Nick didn't have much when he came in from Gerry. Les had a lot more and I had a lot as well.

No body I know is wanting Les back over Orgeron. But to shite can Les's accomplishments simply shows a huge ignorance. He left an impressive body of work. Celebrate that.

Agreed. But people are rightfully upset with the talent that was squandered. He underperformed from 2008-2016 considering the level of talent LSU had.

In no way was LSU top 10-15 with Piles. Have you blocked out memory of getting outscored by a combined 48-14 by ARKANSAS in his 10th and 11th seasons here? If not for the hail Mary in the 2013 game, he would've lost three straight to them. Lester was Bert's whipping boy!

Yesh you are right I suppose. LSU should have gone undefeated and unscored upon during those years. Because no other team has ever has talent. It all goes to LSU.
Oh the agony!! No wins. 8 years of total defeat. No victories. How ever did you delicate souls survive?

It’ll survive longer than yours, old. Death is on your doorstep and not even your fat wife will miss you

Ahh. Perfect.
Get your butt handed to you and you resort to personal attacks.
BTW My wife wasn't fat when she died 6 years in an auto accident but I appreciate your concern.
Now back to how bad the Miles years were. Don't you just hate all the NCAA probations and bowl bans during those horrible years?
And those pesky recruiting violations?
Almost makes a weak person swoon don't they?

I know we had 1.5 seasons of “decent” QB play from 2008 to 2016. We won zero BCS games. We won one SEC title. Went 3-6 under Miles against Alabama in that span (won’t even pin the 2016 loss on him). Had an offense constantly ranked in the bottom half of college football. Finished outside of the top 15 in 4/8 seasons he actually finished. But yeah, you’re right... he was great.
THAT is getting your arse handed to you, old.

Should have been earlier, that Wisconsin game in Green Bay was the last straw.
How can anyone downvote this? On a national stage, we came out and fell flat offensively. And it was after Les promised that the offense was going to be changed, updated, and would produce points. But we saw the same ole tired crap at Lambeau Field. Love Les for being a great guy but he cost us a perfect season and Natty in 2011 by not being more innovative. Even lots of the games we won, were miserable to watch because we should have been blowing people out instead of getting ahead and holding on to win by one score. Or let Alabama come back over and over to win on the last possession because we couldn't get the first down needed to run out the clock or the clinching TD. It wasn't for lack of talent, with the possible exception of QB some years.

LSU fans and the admin have been "settlers for decades.
Fortunately for me, I have lived for a long time and finally we have a HC that has Built the team I deserved.
