Let’s be clear Les Miles will NOT change his philosophy.

He “changed his philosophy” while at LSU, so what makes you so sure?

The fact that you think Miles wasnt loved at Oklahoma state

I'm not the only one in this thread telling you that, and I'm not guessing. I've seen the warnings from Ok St fans while Les was here.

2004, Ok St at Texas. Les' team took a 35-7 halftime lead, then sat on the ball in the 2nd half. Texas scored 7 straight TDs and won 56-35. But I guess the Ok St crowd threw Les a big party after that game, right? Nobody noticed his tendencies, right?.

I get the other side. I still like Gerry DiNardo today because he got LSU out of a 6-year funk. But DiNardo needed to get the hell out of LSU when he lost his mind with coordinators. I noticed his tendencies, along with tens of thousands of others.

Sabans players won 2007 that he had to back into. Les Miles IS NOT A CHAMPIONSHIP COACH. Just like Barry Switzerland wasn’t a championship coach in the NFL

He already demonstrated that he could not learn. He was given an ultimatum to change, and he gave us all the middle finger. Got him fired.

Now, I agree that he might be mores open to a more aggressive offense because he will have to. Here, he could rely on superior talent most of the time.

Maybe he's learned from his mistakes.

...especially as it pertains to clock management. I'm thinking if he hadn't messed up in that Aurburn game he'd still be coaching at LSU. Without a doubt that was the straw that broke the camels back IMO.

Kansas hasn’t won more than 3 games in almost 10 years. If Les wins 6 games it will be impressive and possibly miraculous. He had Leonard Fournette and won 8 and 9 games with him.

Less should do fine stabalizing the program and making them competitive. No, he's not going to get elite talent in the state of Kansas, but he has recruiting ties to Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia. Also the midwest is good territory to find quality offensive linemen.

Don't be going against the narrative bro.
Compared to 2014's 12, 21 and 22 Iform, LSU went predominantly 10, 11 and 20 set (3WR)along with more shotgun in 2015.
Folks who claim nothing changed don't know what they're looking at.
quote:

Combined, LSU used the I-formation on 42 percent of its plays, compared to 53 percent in a one-back and/or three-wide grouping.

Other than dropping toss plays, what I see hasn't really changed is the SE version of the 2015 offense with more pass calls from an even less efficient passing offense(ypa and RAT) than '15, '16 and '17 had. LINK
