So you’re saying the RB from San Diego St and from Auburn we’re projected to go higher than him?

It’s because he didn’t slide. He was picked about where he should have been considering the NFL isn’t a running back league any more. It’s just so many rantards bought the 1st round hype.

This is kind of true.

The optimistic view of his draft position was bottom of the first, top of the second. His "drop" wasn't huge. I always thought he was a 2nd round guy.

Having said that, I DO think some stayed away from him and chose to go to other backs as a result of the "news".

You are looking at it wrong.

The round isnt really the issue it is more about where he was drafted among RBs

Guice was viewed by most as the 2nd, and at worse the 3rd, best RB in the draft.

He was the 7th RB selected. No one had him rated as low as the 7th RB going into the draft.

He certainly slid

It’s a fact that he isn’t a top round talent. The rumors may have kept a few teams away but anyone can fact check and find out the truth if they really wanted him.

And you probably think Orgeron is the best coach in the SEC also.

This is dumb. This is an answer that would have maybe made sense in a tiny gap about 5 years ago. I would argue that rb is the most important skill position player on offense. The way teams are using rbs now is wild. The creativity being done in the passing game is amazing, and you cannot overvalue a back that can do it all. I.e. Derius Guice

Uh, we are talking about the guy with the most 250 plus yard games in the history of the SEC RIGHT?

This conversation is an absolute fricking joke.

The NFL brass got exposed and embarrassed for thier frickary during the interview process and they made a point to Guice and a lesson to all that may come.

Do not embarrass the NFL. They can break you as easily make you. Schools out.

I'd agree with you if there was like 5 backs taken over him
