From the reaction I saw, it didn't look like shock or awe. It looked like indifference....like he didn't give a shite. To me, that suggests that Alleva feels that he is above all of the criticism. He doesn't give a rat's arse what the fans think of him or what they want, and he's not scared of losing his job either.

It’d be one thing to attend a football game under these circumstances because he could just hide in a suite.

Showing up in the middle of that crowd shows an overwhelming lack of self awareness. I’d say it takes balls too but he’s showed us time and time again he doesn’t have those. Plus he gets the hell out of dodge once he realized the crowd wasn’t going to embrace him as he for whatever reason thought it would.

If you hate Joe Alleva....it was a goodnight.

It's on Twitter but can't remember who -- Jacques Doucet maybe? Alleva got a death stare from a lady in a blue jacket with a scarf around her neck.

Absolutely mind boggling he thought that was a great idea.

Only Joe Alleva could see his employer be the sacrificial lamb of the corrupt ncaab system and pat himself on the back

The smug little hand waving gesture he made was disgusting.

I think the pic that you’re talking about was not what you think.

He was probably reacting to the game—maybe a questionable call, and someone made it seem like he was reacting to getting booed.

He’s a coward, and an a-hole, but he knew what he was walking into when he went into that building. That’s why in the first video we saw he looked to smugly shrug it off. The (“what?”) reaction was taken out of context, I think.

theres a video of him sliding into a seat with the old and doing like a two handed salute and making a goofy face.

On top of that the dude runs home at halftime.

He cant even stand up for the shitty decision he made to not stand up for his coach.

No I think that was just an awkward reaction from an awkward guy that keeps himself so insulated he was taken aback by the amount of disdain fans have for him

Which I referenced here...

I’m not excusing him by any means. I’m just saying his reaction in the pic of him looking confused was not to people booing, and probably to something else.

Not that I know of, although the statement on Javonte yesterday mentioned they were looking into it

Their jobs in the first place instead of being a bunch or reactionary twits. This info is not new. They've known since at least October.

Stand behind the coach that this ad and admin hired. Make the ncaa prove it.

What a fuggin clown.

While people may disagree with his tactics, Joe Alleva has one job to do at LSU: increase the economic value of the athletic program. Seeing as how the value has increased every year under Alleva, I wouldn't say he's a clown, he's actually doing his job.

In terms of the actions he's taken regarding the coach and player, he has to show the NCAA that the university is maintaining institutional control. I think all of this is rather predictable in terms of protecting the brand and economic value.

Let's watch it play out and see what happens, it's too early to judge.

Did you happen to see the sign one of the students ( I suppose) held up that read " Will Wade for AD" . Hilarious but don't you know that burns the asses of the compliance department , along with everybody from the BOS down to AD ? Man , i think the school is trying to avoid a lack of control penalty from the NCAA.the death penalty. And this after a judge ruled there is no limit on monetary expenses for scholarship athletes, as long as it is not cash. You know , like computers, TV's, I phones , you know shite that can be hocked or sold outright. It will be a shite show on what the athletes are LEGALLY entitled to receive from colleges. Hopefully the end of the NCAA is in sight.
