The ranters don't represent real lsu fans

I am convinced that most lsu fans are down to earth, logical people who love and support their school in good times and bad. The kids deserve your support. Not being a back stabber against the coach's, a.d., or president. Lsu groomed me to become a man. And I am indebted to all who came before me and after. So if u can't shut up and support your team move somewhere else

There's a big disconnect between the Rant and the LSU fans I know IRL. Most are very happy with the hire. Even the ones who are ambivalent are willing to give him a chance.

I was a man before I arrived at LSU so maybe that explains the disconnect.
Watching Curley Hallman coach sure as hell didn't make me one so I never felt the need to blindly support every AD decision.

Yes, people who are passionate enough about something to take the time to discuss it on a message board aren't "real" fans. I guess the "real fans" are the ones that just bury their heads in the sand and don't understand that there is very good reason for skepticism with this hire.

Never said I give more money than anyone else. I give what I can. But regardless of what you give you need to support your school. The decision has been made. Live with it. I'll be at every game wearing as much purple as i own and cheering until it's over.

This is my main problem with this whole shite show. Certain things were out of Alleva's control, but the fact that he didn't even conduct a proper coaching search is unforgivable.
