Read and react for most of the game and then at the right moment unleash the exotic blitzes. I can see that as the game plan on D.

Aranda is the highest paid def coordinator in the country. It’s time to be as innovative as your salary. His 3rd and long schemes have sucked. I see us getting whopped. Will have to hit 40 to win

You can laugh at "secret playbook" all you want, but I think he has to have saved a blitz look or two for this game.
The green dog blitz that MSU used against us, and then pieces of what Auburn did to us will be part of our game plan I think.

The Rant will be pretty quiet about what happens in-game.
The Gameday board, on the other hand, is a different story.

They also bounced back from giving up an early long TD pass to Jeudy. We need to have that same resiliency.
What Clemson also did was pass all over that Bama defense. Our defense will not be able to hold up of our offense doesn't move the ball and score.

i think we rush 3-4 most of the game, BUT if its obvious early on that he doesnt want to run or escape the pocket, i could definitely see us sending delayed LB'ers if they dont throw the slant early in the play

The bottom line is, Bama is going to run up and down the field on this defense. Whether they get in the endzone or not, is going to be the difference in the game.

Even decent HS QBs decimate blitz heavy Ds yearly.
Feature it too much and they'll be tossing it where you blitzed from.

If you look at almost any good Defense they dominate with their front 4.
