I am expecting 6-6 next season. Anything more I will be happy. In the meantime, I will enjoy the basketball team's success and then baseball. I trust that Kelly will continue to build a staff and get some players. I will keep up with the news, but I am not going to stress out too much

Kelly is going to get LSU football back on track. It will probably take a year or two

LSU is not going to have a worse record next year.

You are correct in that they are not being asked to leave. They are quitting.

The only one of the transfers I would expect to start next year is Ricks.
I believe all the rest know that they will be beaten out. The big question about
Ricks is that will he even play next year or have the “nagging injury” that
seems to plague a large percentage of juniors projected to be high draft picks.

I wish all the players well and can’t blame someone that wants to play

changing the culture”

Like ut or not, this is what's happening

Kelly isn't like O. So naturally, the culture will be different.
And yes, some talented players will know if they sit high enough in that new culture.

Like they just said...Kelly has more wins at Notre Dame than Rockne. He knows a little something.
I trust his process knowing that certain players, good or bad, won't gel with him. I would imagine he met with them and had an honest dialog

Two words..... TRANSFER PORTAL

We haven't begun to bring in transfers who are experienced, skilled, and will provide depth.

I think the Title 9 stuff will become an issue, a big one and I think it is being used against us on the recruiting/transfer trail.

Bookmark it. This team is going to be hurting so badly for depth.

You do realize LSU can fill some of that depth from the same portal that’s currently causing their depth problem? Look at the caliber players in the portal from LSU alone and it’s easy to see there is talent available.

Look how the Def played at the end of the year. That wasn’t the 5 star studs on the field. That was their back ups, 3rd string and guys playing out of position that made that happen. 5 star studs don’t provide much help if they don’t want to be there or they’re playing for themselves.

Give me the guys that want to be out there along with the guys coming from the portal that have something to prove and I’ll support them game after game.
