Did anyone get a picture of this? I've never seen LSU's campus that trashed after a game. In the defense of the fans, not nearly enough trash cans were provided.

What happened Alleva?!?

He was poppin bottles after signing his extension. No time to deal with garbage cans.

The volunteers, inmates, and LSU maintenance people who clean up on Sunday mornings after a home game are unsung heroes.

Campus is immaculate again by noon.

But they have pallet loads full of contractor grade garbage bags at Home Depot. Not an excuse.

Indeed, but LSU should do a much better job of waste management before the game. It was an ocean of garbage walking back to the truck.

Trash left on the war memorial as well.

Is it mainly fraternities that tailgate on the parade grounds now? Are they not allowed to tailgate at houses anymore? Let them trash their own houses like we used to.

This has nothing to do with LSU. They have ample trash cans. It has to do with the fraternity tailgates just leaving everything on the ground because they use the trash cans as keg holders.

Aleva should have got Tom Cruise to use his magic to cast a cleanliness spell on the Parade Grounds.

How is Alleva responsible for this?

It's absolutely disgusting that tiger fangs have such little respect for their university to leave it like that. LSU fans, y'all need to step it up.

because it's mentioned on here so often, I notice the tailgating areas around the CEBA area. 1. because we tailgate along ceba dr. and 2. the walk from the stadium after the game takes me by large tailgate areas around CEBA on my way to my vehicle. I can say with all the tailgates in that area on gameday, that after the game the whole area is spotless. Not even a can on the ground. Granted the folks who use that area for tailgating are an older group and usually family, and friend oriented, but they do have respect for the university in that everyone cleans up, and uses the trash cans, and boxes LSU provides. The people on the Parade Ground is pure trash for leaving that area littered with their garbage.

Alleva picks up trash after the games and has his own crew? Nice.

They did not provide enough trash cans in this area yesterday. I was In the area all day and my alumni tailgate only had access to one garbage can that was overflowing. We also were on the lookout in the morning for the guys that distribute the cans on a trailer but they never came around.

The fraternity tailgates are probably to blame like you said but some of this is on LSU.

Must be who tailgates there. We tailgate by the Vet school and it was nearly pristine upon leaving. Most families are responsible and cleanup their mess. But I hate to hear that happens there. It's such a beautiful place to tailgate

I can believe not enough trash cans are provided. They probably provide same amount for each game just like port o potties around my area - 3 for EMU and 3 for Florida which is ridiculous. Know your expected crowd and adjust accordingly.

I didn't think it looked bad.

They were doing a good job of getting it picked up when I walked by.

Not much will be done except punish all tailgater's.

The guy who was in charge of waste management and recycling for years left for greener pastures a few years ago. It's been a downward spiral since then.

He often talked with the frats about cleaning up the pig sty. But now not much of anything gets done.

Then people should go somewhere else. Still no excuse for leaving waste behind.

That's where I was.
From there to Nicholson was spotless when walking to the game.

It really just depends on where you tailgate.

There is a trashy side of campus, and a clean side.

Here's an idea....bring your own damn garbage bags!

Quit blaming Aleva and everybody else and look in the Damn mirror. How hard is it to bag your trash and put it in a pile to be picked up?
