True that, 95% of women have more fortified than 95% of these jackasses

The potential for stormy weather is also a factor. High winds and rain put limits on your ability to pass. A bad weather game, in my opinion, is in LSU's favor because of it's better defense and kicking game. Look for a game like this to be decided by turnovers and field position as well as which kicker can make his field goals. A low scoring game.

Get drunk. Get thrown out. Run his mouth about being LSU's offensive coordinator. Get thrown out of that too.

I've pissed a lot of people off. I've never been paid a million plus to just frick off and not talk about what happened.

You beat auburn by having no turnovers, playing outstanding defense, and making your field goals. I expect LSU to do this and win 16-10.

Do you believe that LSU can win with 150 yards passing and 3/11 on 3rd down?

Actually, if you follow the Miami formula, yes.

Doesn't have to be as big a margin, but if we can somehow get up by 14+ (think- defensive score or similar), I think the air goes out of the balloon, we keep the clock running, and smother them with defense. Whether that works against their tempo remains to be seen.

But like I say, the Miami principle- get up, don't do anything to risk giving them a quick score or good field position.

They are but need time to develop. I don’t think AU feels like we can push it deep mainly because the protection hasn’t been there. We need to show early on we can. We need to avoid the big plays early. AU is known for jumping on teams and getting early leads. We need to back them up deep near their own territory early and make them uncomfortable. They have a new starting punter. And hope he does what feagles did and give us some good FP

Well as long as we take it deep without throwing a pick. An early pick can cause an avalanche.

That is essentially what LSU did in 2016...and lost. Auburn didn't score a TD all game. The turnover margin was even. LSU was 2/3 in FG's, but even had they not missed they still wouldn't have won because the margin of victory was 5 points.

LSU lost that game because they flat refused to be anything but risk-averse even when Auburn GAVE them a chance to win the game (AU fumbled at their own 15 in a 2 point defensive battle. LSU cautiously plunged LF up the middle 3 times for 9 yards. The 3rd time being AFTER calling a time out...that certainly would have been nice to have on the final drive)

Last year LSU fell behind so fast that they had no choice but to be aggressive on offense. Trailing 23-7 in the first half, LSU got the ball at their own 25 with just over 2:00 to go in the half. Rather than do what LSU has done for a decade, play it ultra conservative, they took a bit of risk and marched down field for a 75 yard TD drive. That TD gave LSU life going in to HT because 23-14 doesn't look nearly as insurmountable as 23-7.

No, LSU doesn't have to come out and try to sling the ball all over the field 50 times. But they DO have to be willing to win the game, vs. just hoping to be in it at the the end. For years LSU's offensive approach has been so risk averse that they diminished their chances for success in the process.

Burrow has been fairly accurate when throwing to receivers (drops and throw-aways have hurt his completion %). He's made good decisions. You've spent 7 months telling anyone who would listen that the WR corps is the strength of the offense. For God's sakes, trust them to win you the game! You're an underdog on the road. What do you have to lose?
