I commented about this in the other thread about who everyone was pulling for. Unless you are exposed to them, you have no idea the pompousness of OU fans. They whine, complain, insult & deny any responsibility in their losses. It's always something besides them, ie: it was poor officiating, it's not fair to play bcs bowls in one team's home state, etc,etc.
I hate fla, and urban, but I hate OU much more. My friends here were trying to say we are gay for cheering on the SEC and they don't understand why.
I only root for them vs USC or if it helps LSU.

Agreed! I was in NO for both championship games and went to the 2003 one, and the Sooners are easily the worst fanbase I have ever interacted with. From the way they treated us you would have thought we were Tulane or something ;)
In contrast, I had a fantastic time with the OSU fans that I encountered last year for the championship game.

Buckeye fans are great...at least they admit they suck....
I think every fan base has their share of shittiness. Go into Big10 country and the fans & local media get pretty bad...nothing compared to OU though....GO BOISE STATE BRONCOS!!

OU fans are about like TX fans. Boring, snobs. They wouldnt know a good time if it hit'em square in the face!
We sat behind a bunch in the super dome in 03. Wow what a bunch of whiners. They hardly cheered at all. They just didnt know what to make of these LSU people!!! lol

OSU fans were cool last year in nola. after the game leaving the dome an OSU fan walked up to me and shook my hand and complimented us on a good game.

I saw a drunk LSU fan throw a full cup of beer in an old lady's face, that was wearing OU gear. My buddy posted him and about knocked him out, and we held him on the ground until the police came.
