I look at South Alabama baseball and ULL basketball, and I see one doing it right and one doing it wrong.
Mark Calvi deserves praise, he wants to build South Alabama baseball into a respectable program and he's being rewarded for doing it the right way. He schedules up, takes his team on the road against super quality baseball programs and expects results. He had a ranked team coming into the season, now that's national recognition. That moron at ULL on the other hand seems to want everything handed to him. He wants to schedule down, and then be rewarded because of it.

Marlin always goes to RPI because he knows it can be manipulated. He never mentions Sagarin or Pomeroy. There is a reason for that.

What?! LSU let their play on the court do the talking. Your coach was the one making all of these comments about LSU is scared and ULL deserved the home game.
Look at the quality wins for the two teams. You don’t just go off of RPI.
