The committee was lazy with the pairings this year. Besides Bryant you could see the LSU and Rice brackets coming from a mile away.

Rice owned LSU until Blake Dean pooped on Cole St Clair in the 2008 CWS and broke the curse.

One of my favorite CWS memories is Larson taking that unhittable closer from Rice yard. I believe Lance Berkman was on that team also.
