what about spring camp dynamo Ronnie Feist?

Similar situation as Paris. If Beckwith comes back, I don't see him on the field much. Unless something changes in camp, Beckwith and Riley are the main guys in the middle, and then you'd have guys like Key and Teuhema in the pass rushing OLB role.

It remains to be seen what type of defense Aranda is going to run in his first year as well. Kevin Steele was also known as a 3-4 guy, but we played a lot of 4-2-5 last year even with adequate LB depth. Plus, I really, really like what I've seen on film from Erick Fowler, think he could be a potential Day 1 starter.

What if Clapp grabs the G spot? Lots of opponents will need a doctor.

Reports on Washington were great before injury, he will be in the two deep next year.
I'd like Paris to take a shot at Safety.
Clapp started out at C this year, don't think they had complete confidence so they put Pocic back, Clapp starts out at C next year
No way in hell Pocic came back to play Center, he's not built for it anyway, he was there out of necessity. he gets his shot at a Tackle spot next year.
White is day 1 starter on Special teams. He said he wanted to cover kickoffs, I hope he decides he wants to play LBer, he said he's completely open to it.
Getting moved to FB midseason doesn't bode well for Feist going back to LB but maybe Aranda thinks he can.

And people hate Miles? What the hell? This is the second time in five years that he has loaded the depth chart with talent. The guy develops players, his weakness is game management.

I think Devin White will be redshirted, drop like 15 pounds and play LB in 2017.

Need him on special teams.

Xavier Lewis? Russell gage? Either one of these guys expected to provide depth in the secondary?

don't think Paris sees much P/T other than special teams if Tre White returns for his senior season. He's clearly at best 5th on the depth chart behind White, Thomas, Toliver, and Jackson, and may get bumped down to 6th when Smith gets to campus.

Could be moved to safety?

One of the main reasons I think he stays at C because if he is as dominate at tackle as he is at C why didn't they play him at RT this season?

Probably because they didn't trust a freshman to make all of the protection calls. Clapp has had a full year of starting, and Dodd has had two years of backup duty now. We have guys who can cover that spot. Pocic is athletic enough to play tackle, and we have a bigger need there. Whether it is right or left, he will man one of those spots.

Next year will be the first time since 2011 and 12 that we will have a complete team with experience and depth, but even then, LB will still be pretty thin. We have had good overall talent and several great players, but we have also had real depth and talent level issues in different spots the last three years.
