As I watched the Texas A&M game. From everyone saying that E Called the plays. I came to realize this probably will be the same offense of last year. There is no way for E to make a whole new offense. I mean he called plays from cams offense. Now Canada’s. I could definitely see the change from the A&M game. Wasn’t many jet sweeps and on third downs the field was spread out just like 2016. I don’t see E changing the offense for these new young QBs. I hope and pray E will learn from his past. But let me not get my hopes up. What do y’all think?

I’d rather not be banned, so I’ll suffice to say I am unhappy with the thought.

Just want your opinions. I mean it was a good offensive game for us. Still can’t accept the fact E is our OC? I’m just saying. Can’t take the heat get out the kitchen. This was Os man from the jump.

Yes it will; it'll revert back to the offense from the year before

Don’t let the group-think guys get in your way. They can’t help but be close minded and not actually have an intelligent convo.

Here’s what E said.
Ensminger said the wide receiver position is the strength of this year’s offense and he’s going to take advantage of that. “We have depth there (at wide receiver) that we haven’t had in a couple of years. I think we have to put 3-4 receivers on the field, we have to be an RPO (run-pass-option) team… We have to do some no-huddle. That’s the direction we’re going… We can be in three-wide sets and still be physical and run off of it.”

I’m not sure how much Canada used RPO but I know 100% that it is the new rave of football. Ohio St, Georgia and the Green Bay Packers are some teams that use it. It traditionally is an offense that can be blended into what you already do as it simply means the WR don’t block on run plays and run routes. So if the QB sees something presnap he goes one way or the other.

I think E is gonna take things he learned from Calling Cams offense and from calling Canada’s offense and then blend it into his own. Should be fun!

How did you think the offense looked against ND in the bowl game? That was SE also... It looked terrible.

Still going to wait and see what happens when he has the time to implement what we wants over the spring.

Are you talking about E will run the offense he ran in 2016? If you are, he might, but i doubt it, still think it will be different in a lot of ways. Think they will throw more, never know, may have packages for both qbs.

we will still run the football. we will also pass the football. we will spread the field at times. we will not run texas tech's air raid offense and we will not run les miles I formation run game.

what we need is a successful passing game. we have needed this for years. if we get one, we will be a factor in the sec west. if not, we will be middle of the pack.

I'm no fan of the decisions to hire O and SE but this is ridiculous. One of the main reasons for sending Canada packing was to get a new offense. SE's offense will have elements of Cameron's and Canada's but it will be his offense.

Good post LSU GrandDad

Hopefully it will look like this based off of what Ensminger said in his PC

Biggiebaum don't listen too well. CSE has clearly stated he will install his own offense. Ja'mar Chase seems to be high on it.

Yeah I like it. I think E is gonna give it all he has got. This is his shot to see if the decision to not put his family through moving from city to city as his kids were young was the right one. He definitely has the work ethic. Now we just gotta wait and see. I’m can’t wait to see what he comes up with. I think a lot will be pleasantly surprised.

It not going to look anything like what we ran vs ND. Sounds more like a pro style spread type like what a lot of NFL teams run these days. Should work well with OBs like Brennan and like Brennan and Narcisse.
