Had we finished the game the way we started offensively and defensively this thread wouldn't even exist and people wouldn't be bitching.
Intensity was there by players.
Coaching just seems to go in junior high school mode.

He brought it up and I expounded on it. But are you really incapable of seeing the analogy presented? You really think you have to point out that war and football are different?

Did you see how many threads we started last night on predict LSU plays on their upcoming drives? Dude we are fans and we called it almost 95% of the time. It won't change that is the problem. The 2007 -2012 les days are over the mad hatter shite is lame sure you get lucky some but now it is all about coaching and executing on the field. Unfortunately we are falling hard and fast when it matters now at the end of the games. I am done in here

only because he compared players and coach grading to being in a class.

You have been attacking fans all night long. Let it go! Fans come here to vent their frustrations. Do you really think that you are going to change their minds with your comments.

I don't understand all this bickering between fans. Every one has his own opinion and this is a forum to have it heard. No one is being asked to be convinced that his opinion is wrong.

Firstly, Les probably gave specific instructions to Cameron to run, run, run and sit on the lead. Arrogant, because I've seem the same run, run, run attitude (with 10 in the box) over and over. Last year against State we had the ball 1st and 10 on the 2 yard line. 4 runs into the middle of the line, with 10 in the box, and we walk away with zero points. IN today's game a team can not just sit on a lead. Yesterday proved that. At least 4 teams lost by sitting on the lead. Arrogant because it's Les' way or the highway. We're extremely lucky to win last night.

I know it's only one game but I'd bet my money on a final record very close to last year.

Well we have already traded a home loss last year for a road victory this year.

Sorry you're so disappointed.

By this time next we we will have victories over 2 teams that accounted for 2 losses last year.

I'd say things look pretty good.

I guess, but if the platoon fought well and the strategy was horrible do you not place the blame on the generals or the strategist?

who is the judge of that? is their a russian judge grading like the olympics?
was the objective achieved?

This is insanity. Every year some of y'all believe the passing game will magically come around without us even utilizing it in game play. It's the same thing we do on 3rd and long oh shite lets run run and put our qb in a low percentage passing situation. Teams half to know we are willing to throw it on 1st and 2nd and we will have success doing so.

you mean like 3000 passing yards and two 1000 yard receivers type good?

How did you come to that conclusion. Was it the arse whooping we gave MsSt. Miles will continue to play scared. Southern Miss and Jax St put MsSt and AU secondary to shame. We will throw 15 times max and work LF7 like a rented mule.

You have never seen a player get hurt in a game that should have been well in hand?

Do you not believe the more carries a running back gets raises the potential for injury?

The 4th quarter fot bland and even then we got into fg range and it was called back on a hold. Everytime we got a stop some flag would come in...one was the ridiculus hands to face that wasnt even close to hands on face.

Forget everything that happen but this one play and youll see the type of people that will.never be happy and bitch to bitch. ...4th and 2 at midfield...up 2....and peoplr were livid we pinned them inside the 10. If we dont get 4th and 2 its easy fg range access and we lose and miles is an idiot...but people were pissed that ye made the right call.

So even though he made the right call people were so mad about their perceived wrong doings of lsu football they cant see anything that is done correct.

ove blowing teams out! Sorry but I enjoy completely dominating teams. With the exception of a few games each year we usually have a great advantage in talent so I like it when we play to our potential.

I actually lost interest, while continuing to watch, in the 2nd half last night. It's so frustrating to allow teams to stay close when you could've put the game out of reach. I want to see guys like Guice get work in games AND rest the starters in the 4th qtr saving them from future fatigue and/or potential injuries.

And this goes for all sports...I like baseball winning 12-1 more than 2-1.

Thats a you problem

See, football is a game where there's another team on the field trying to stop you from doing that.

we'll see. i'm just guessing. and i don't care either which away. i don't care if they run LF7 48 times and win by one with Aubbies QB running 43 yards into his own endzone for a safety.

This is moronic. State should have been blown out in this game. Les miles will always keeps teams in the game. He is not capable of stepping on the opponents throats. He's a complete idiot for not throwing ball down field more. Yes there were plenty of big plays called back by penalties but Harris proved in first quarter he could be trusted and miles run to pass ratio still approached 80% by end. This conservative play not to lose bullshite is why Lsu will again lose 3-5 games and not be elite. Leslie, you suck

What you don't seem to understand is that Miles' philosophy of getting a lead and sitting on it for 2-3 quarters hoping he can just maintain it is a LOSING philosophy. Hell, just yesterday that philosophy cost several teams who tried it. Sure, you can win a few games doing it, but it just does not work over the course of a season.

We will not have that type of production with the way Miles called the second half of the game.
