These upcoming games should give our teams a chance to jell, get healthy, and really come together on offense, while the defense just needs to get more aggressive and play LSU style of defense.
The offense should be able to put up some serious numbers in the games.

Georgia Southern won, so that’s good.

The defense will be much better when it’s not facing 5 receiver sets. Our LBers and nickel corners are a weakness when we basically play a 4-2-3-2 type defensive scheme.

Especially if the team were playing has 4-5 good receivers.

Agreed. Vincent was under the impression he was playing flag football and Delpit seemed to think he was playing in high school still and forgot how to wrap up/you can't run over people in D1 football.

I have no idea what was up with Fulton today and I hope this was just a bad game.

Dont forget about the extra bye week we have after vandy. Schedule shaping up good. We have a gauntlet for sure starting with florida but this early part is great for getting our team ready for what could be a special season. Especially after the win last night

He got hurt early in the game andlooked like they retaped him. Might've effected his play the rest of the game

The defense needs serious work.

I think the DB play improves and it needs to. I am more concern with our lack of pressure on QB and our inability to stop the running plays for negative or zero yards. I'm hoping Texas OL is just really good and that may be the case.

Happy for the win, defense has a lot to work on but the talent is there.

This was a quality opponent that will win a lot of games. That will help us when the SOS comes into play. Defense will play better from here on out. These next few games will get us more confident and prepare us for the meat of schedule. We will be in better shape physically after the coaches were able to see what the problem was. It was very humid and hot. Playing on the road and against s team that had a lot of good receivers and a running quarterback. That 19 play drive is not normal and sucked the wind out of the defense. That will be attended to.
